Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing

Perfect to drizzle over a mess of summer greens.

Ingredients

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

2 T. honey

1/4 cup walnut or olive oil

1/8 tsp. salt

fresh ground pepper

handful of raspberries, mashed

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking. Drizzle over your favorite seasonal salad.

Energetics

Overall, this recipe nourishes Yin and strongly promotes digestion. Raspberries are very Yin nourishing and build Blood. Vinegar’s sour flavor moves stasis and stimulates digestion. Walnut or olive oil both nourish Yin and Jing, as does salt. Pepper strongly warms Yang.
