Creating An Ethical Practice

Ethics are a part of our everyday lives. They help us create boundaries and set up healthy relationships. For somatic practitioners a strong understanding and refining of ethics helps us interact in meaningful ways with our clients and creates a safe space for our clients and ourselves.

In my 30+ years of teaching, I have seen first hand how poor ethics and boundaries can make or break practitioner's businesses and damage relationships with clients, friends and colleagues.

This course will help you recognize where you need to create and/or refine your ethics, recognize where your clients are at, and set you up with tools and guides to further evolve your practice in an ethical manner.

The course is made up of three video presentations and their pdfs, and includes my intake, assessment and HIPAA forms for you use.

1.  Intro to Ethics -- Covers the basics of what ethics are and ways to help participants improve, polish or evolve from where they are at. Student to practitioner, practitioner to scholar/master.
2.  Your Clients -- Focuses on setting up and identifying boundaries and the unique scenarios that hands-on practitioners. Ways to prepare practitioners to be able to recognize, avoid or diffuse difficult situations including boundaries, collusion, and red flags.
3.  Difficult Situations & HIPAA -- Looks at how to handle difficult situations when they arise. Knowing and understanding the law and HIPAA.

This course is required for my Amma Apprentices.
