Addressing Pain

I feel your pain.

Sometimes literally, it's one of the things that comes with being able to feel Qi, and from years worth of teaching and practice to refine my skills and talents. Enough about me.

At some point in our lives we will feel pain.

The focus of this class is to empower participants to be able to identify or assess their patterns of pain and to learn steps to help treat, prevent or manage pain.

What we will cover --

  • Identification of pain patterns -- excess, deficiency, chronic, acute, hot/cold, stagnation...etc.

  • Foods and herbs to use (or avoid) when you are in pain.

  • Acupoints and self- Amma

  • Topical herbs and oils

  • Steps to treat acute injury and recovery

  • Tools for chronic patterns -- I see you my arthritic, friends

  • As always, I welcome questions.

  • Period pain? While this class will have tools that definitely address pain, I have a more in-depth course coming in January that is a deep dive into period pain.
