San Bai Zu
San Bai Zu is one of the essential sauces and marinade in Japanese cooking. Use is as a marinade over vegetables or meat. Dilute with a 1 tsp of dashi or stock and add 1 tsp of sesame seed oil for a tasty salad dressing. You can add in a tsp of grated ginger to spice up the flavor too.
Ingredients
5 T rice vinegar
2 T shoyu or tamari sauce
3 T mirin
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
