Healing Benefits: Summer squash helps to increase hydration and protect from sun damage. They also display anti-cancer fighting properties. Because of their high water content, they are very low in calories--wonderful for diets. Basil, oregano, marjoram and garlic all lift the immune system and have cancer fighting properties as well.
