Surviving Summer’s Heat, Thursday, June 11th, 5:30 – 6:30 pm (MDT), free
I may not be able to offer hands-on Amma right now but I can teach!
This is the next class in my new Self Help series that has really just started to blossom, and I’m having fun with it.
The summer heat is coming on, and for many it can be a real challenge. I personally wrestled with heat exhaustion a number of times when I was younger, and I dreaded the summer. Though I have to be aware and prepare, I love summer now. Thank you, Chinese medicine, herbs and nutrition! I’ve helped my body adapt and learned the tools and tricks to help me find the joy and blessing that summer offers.
What I would like to share with you –
- How to recognize your pattern and relationship to summer and heat
- What measures and steps you can take for prevention of heat fatigue and exhaustion
- Foods and herbs to use or exclude for both prevention and acute treatment
- Treat of acute heat invasion
How this works – when you register for the class I send you an email confirming registration and link to the zoom meeting. A day or so before the class I send out another reminder about the class and any booklet or handout that may go with the class.
After the class, I send you the link to the video recording.
Class is free, donations are welcome.
